Adventure Lite (Inter Club Activity)
Get out and move…but have fun too! The ladies who participate in this group do all kinds of activities mostly centered around the outdoors. Don’t put it past these ladies to hike, kayak, walk or any other activity where they can get some exercise and be outside (in the summer, there are indoor activities).
Birthday Lunch Bunch
Are you having a birthday this month? Receive an invitation from a NNC member host celebrating the month with you! The hotess arranges the lunch specifis and advise you of the place, date and time. This is just another way to celebrate you and your day with other Newcomers!
Cinemascoops
Are you a movie buff? Do you want to be? Get on the list to receive an email blast announcing a movie, time and date several days prior to the event. The participants of this activity may go and have ice cream or dinner after the movie viewing. No need to R.S.V.P., just show up at the movie, and look for the Newcomers.
Chef's Table - A Gourmet Couples Group
Join other couples for a formal sit-down dinner. The hotess will prepare the menu and main course and assign other dinner menu items to the members of her group of 12.
Coffee & Conversation
This is exactly what it sounds like….coffee and conversation. Meet at a member’s home for great coffee and even better conversation. This is a great way to meet and befriend new people!
Dance Classes
Another great way to get some exercise but have a blast too! Students will learn dance vocabulary and experience many dance styles. The classes are located at Royal Conservatory of Music. You must commit to 8 week sessions. The cost of these 8 week 1 hour classes is $96.
Daytime Book Club
This group meets monthly at a member’s home to discuss a book chosen by the host of the month. There is always great discussion and insight with this group!
Destination Dinner
Meet other couple and singles for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres first at a member’s home….then it is off to the host’s choice of restaurant. With this group, you will get to discover new dining choices in Naples. It is a good way to socialize and discover some really fabulous local favorites! Shh…dinner location is a surprise until after cocktails.
Everyday Philosophers Group
Do you ever think about what happiness really is and how we obtain it? How about if we change over time, what defines us as individuals? If so, then this group might be of interest to you. Its purpose is to discuss philosophical topics of interest that the members suggest. These topics will likely be more concrete and related to everyday life, rather than those typically found in an academic course.
Get Acquainted Night
Enjoy an evening in the casual setting of a volunteer hostess' home. Mix, mingle and make new friends while sampling appetizers and desserts brought by the guests. Both couples and singles are welcome. Just bring an appetizer or dessert for 12 people and a beverage for your own consumption. We ask that Red Wine be consumed only on the outside lanai.
Girls Nite Out
Here is another excuse to get out on the town with the girls. Every month, a different restaurant is picked, and we meet for dinner and conversation. This is a great way to get to know some of the restaurants in Naples and also a great venue to meet new people.
Gourmet Gals
Gourmet Gals are a group of up to 12 ladies who like to cook,
share recipes and discuss cooking related topics.
What is expected of a GG member?
Prepare a delicious and well-presented gourmet luncheon once a year. Then enjoy a wonderful luncheon on the last Monday of the month for the rest of the year.
Guys Group
The Guys Group is a group for the husbands and significant others of the members of the Naples Newcomers. This group enjoys all kinds of activities including golf, boating and other outdoor sports, as well as financial discussions. Your husband gets the benefits of you joining the club too!

Meeting Day Games
After our monthly luncheon, there are games to be played. Join other members for games such as Mah Jongg, Bridge and Hand and Foot. Don’t be left out…these games are lots of fun!
O Solo Mia
This is asingles group who meet for conversation, activities and outings. You never know what to expect from this group because they have lots of different activities and events going on all the time!
Rendezvous
Meet your fellow Newcomer members out for a drink and some food. The location of this event moves monthly and allows the opportunity for introduction to new places for drinks, food and fun!
Saturday Night Supper Club
SNSC is an opportunity to meet new and old friends in a small dinner group setting. The evening is filled with good food and interesting conversations.

Shells Club invites duplicate bridge players in Newcomers to join them for a game. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Table for Eight (Inter Club Activity)
This activity is where eight people (singles or couples) meet at a restaurant for dinner. Just call the coordinator and she will put you in touch with the remainder of your dinner companions. Get to know your fellow Newcomers.
Which Craft?
This is an activity centered on choosing a different craft each month. We may meet at JoAnn's Fabrics or other locations for lots of crafting fun. Lunch usually follows (optional) at a nearby restaurant.
