Naples Newcomers Club is a social organization for women designed to give permanent residents living in Naples (five years or less) the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others who are new to the area.
We know you will find the Naples Newcomers Club just the right mixture to provide you with an easy and comfortable transition to the area. Your involvement in the Naples Newcomers Club will provide continued strength and support for those other newcomers who follow you. Here is an opportunity to become a part of a growing and thriving community, to develop new relationships, and enjoy the friendship and fellowship of other newcomers. We welcome you to the Naples area and look forward to meeting you soon.
The Club holds a luncheon meeting on the second Thursday of each month, held at a local country club. The activities are organized and directed by an all volunteer Board of Directors that is elected annually. The Club has numerous groups of varying types and styles. (See Club Offerings). We encourage members to learn about Naples, its culture and lifestyle and to develop friendships by sharing interests and hobbies with each other.
Members are required to attend 6 out of 12 luncheon meetings in the course of the year and pay their annual dues to maintain membership status. Attendance requirement is prorated in the first year of membership.
You can join Naples Newcomers if you:
- have resided in Naples for less than 5 years as a full-time resident
- attend an orientation coffee - (see below)
- pay pro-rated annual membership dues ($39), plus an initiation fee ($30)
Would you like to attend an orientation coffee? They are held on the first Thursday of each month. During the orientation coffee, prospective members meet with officers of the Club to learn about Naples Newcomers and the various interest groups that are available.
